Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was a on t e 12th
day of August , 19 85 The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, ouncilmember eils— Schneider and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Councilmember Crain
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 597
APPROVING GAMBLING PERMIT
ST. MARY OF THE LAKE CHURCH
WHEREAS, an application for a state license to conduct lawful gambling has been
received from Kenneth Tauer of St. Mary of the Lake Church pursuant to M.S.
349.213; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has investigated the applicant and finds no
reason to deny the license; and
WHEREAS, the City must, within thirty days of application, approve or disapprove
said application and notify the Charitable Gambling Control Board of Its action;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, that the application of Kenneth Tauer, St. Mary of the Lake Church, is
approved.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, tTie
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider and Vasiliou e follow -ng
voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
