Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plyieouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 22nd day of
July 19 85. The following members were present: "favor Davenport,

introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 563
A RESOLUTION AWARDING PARKERS LAKE CONSULTANT CONTRACT
WHEREAS, phase I construction of Parkers Lake City Park is scheduled
for 1985 and 1986, and
WHEREAS, state and federal funding has been secured for a portion of
this project, and
WHEREAS, the Citv of Plvmouth has advertised and secured proposals from
nine different consultant firms, and
WHEREAS, three consultant firms were orally interviewed by a joint
committee made up of City Council members and Park and Recreation
Advisory Commission members, and
WHEREAS, the firm of Brauer y Associates_ 1.t .__._In*$s shown itself to
be particularly suited for this project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the firm of Brauer & AssociatEs Ltd.. Inc.
is selected as the consultant firm for Parkers Lake City Park project,
and further, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized
to negotiate a contract with said firm and bring said contract before
the City Council for formal approval.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember veils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favoF thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain,
iJeils Schneider and Vasiliou
