Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of PlyAuuth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of

.Councilmember Schneiderintroduced the following Resolution and mu. -ed
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 561
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PURCHASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY Or PLYMOUTH AND ST. MARY'S OF THE LAKE CHURCH
WiiEREAS, the Cite of Plymouth has a Comprehensive Park and Trail System
Plan, an('
WHEREAS, the City has determined that property owned by St. Mary's of
the Lake Church would be appropriately_ used for neighborhood park
purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the negotiation for the purchase
of property from St. Mary's of the Lake Church, and
WHEREAS, a purchase agreement for the acquisition of 11.6 acres of land
has been agreed upon, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed and
recommended said purchase agreemerit, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and approves of said purchase
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the purchase agreement dated July 22, 1985,
between the City of Plymouth and St. Mary's of the Lake Church is here-
by approved, and further, the Director of Finance is authorized to make,
said payments in accordance with said purchase agreement for the
acquisition of this property; the payment of which is to come from
neighborhood park dedication funds, account 219-219.
