HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-546CITY OF PLVNDUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 22nd day of Jul . 1985. The following members were Present: Deouty Mayor Schneider, Counci mem ers Neils, — Crain and Vasiliou were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 546 APPROVING LAND USE GUIDE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR DAVE JOHNSON (85020) WHEREAS, Dave Johnson has requested approval of a Land Use Guide Plan Amendment to reclassify approximately two acres of land from LA -1 (low density residential) classification to CN (neighborhood shopping center) classification located at the southeast corner of Highway 101 and County Road 6; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the reclassification of land use guiding for Dave Johnson for approximately 7 acres located at the southeast corner of Highway 101 and County Road 6, subject to ie conditions as stated in Resolution No. 85-547 that approves the Preliminary Plat, and in accordance with Exhibit (85020); FURTHER, Approval of the Land Use Guide Plan Amendment is contingent upon, and subject to: 1. The required review and response by the Metropolitan Council. 2. The Final Plat/Plan, Site Plan, and Development Contract shall be approved by the City Council prior to finalization of the Amendment. 3. The petitioner shall satisfactorily address screening of adjoining properties with submittal of the Site Plan utilizing such landscaping necessary to effectively screen the adjoining residential properties on the east and south with a combination of coniferous and deciduous trees with a year -around opacity of 90%.
