Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of July 19 85.
The following members were present: Deputy Mayor cineider, Councilmember
Neils Crain and Vasiliou
he following members were a sent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 543
ADOPTING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND APPROVING LETTER OF
UNDERSTANDING FOR CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Council has established certain performance standards for the
position of City Manager; and
WHEREAS, these performance standards have been developed by the Council in
consultation with the City Manager and Dr. Pierre Meyer, President of MDA Consulting
Group, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Council and City Manager wish to formally provide for the adoption of
. these performance standards; and
WHEREAS, the Council and City Manager have also developed a draft letter of
understanding governing the essential terms and conditions of employment for the City
Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that the performance standards developed for the position of the City Manager as
reviewed by the City Council on duly 15, 1985 be and the same are hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the letter of understanding between the City Council and
the City Manager dated duly 15, 1985 be and the same is hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to execute the agreement on
behalf of the City Council.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
