HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-541CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of July 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Hf fiF* •fi Councilmenber Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 140. 85- 541 APPROIING LOT CONSOLIDATION FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (85004) WHEREAS, The Citv of Plymouth has requested consolidation of various platted lots into one lot for the purposes of deeding surplus land to adjoining property owner; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following Consolidation: Lot 6, Block 1, Plymouth Plaza 4th Addition AND PARCEL A That part of Lot 5, Block 1, PLYMOUTH PLAZA 4TH ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows; Commencing at a point on the west line of said Lot 5 distant 319.28 feet north from the northwest corner of Lot 6, said Block 1; thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 55 seconds East a distance of 114.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 89 degrees 42 minutes 55 seconds East a distance of 276.00 feet; thence South 0 degrees 17 minutes 05 seconds East to the south line of said Lot 5; thence west along said south line a distance of 170.00 feet; thence North 0 degrees 17 minutes 05 seconds West 70.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 42 minutes 55 seconds West 106 feet; thence North 0 degrees 17 minutes 05 seconds West 346.97 feet to the point of beginning EXCEPT highway. To be consolidated into a single new parcel; and, FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the Consolidation is a,iproved by HennepinCounty. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vtte being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider Crain and Vasiliou . The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted-.--
