HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-532CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day ofJul, 1986. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Counci members Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following members -ire absent: none Councilmember Schm— aer introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 532 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGATING - WOODLANDS ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from R.D.C. Properties requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Woodlands Addition.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MIYNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Woodlands Addition by the installation of residential street lighting, filed with the City Council on July 15, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and spescial assessment • hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The mo,ion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou _ The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
