The following members were present•—Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Aeils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 528 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - WOODDALE NORTH PLAT II WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Dennis Dirlam requesting install- ation of ornamental residential street lighting in Wooddale North Plat II; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Wooddale North Plat II by the installation of ornamental residential street lighting, filed with the City Council on July 15, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 1002 of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recom- mended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider. Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declaredd*ly passed and adopted. rt,t* �A kk
