HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-527CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re9ulac meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th bay of July , 1985. The following members were present: np ty Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Neils, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 527 AQUIFER ANALYSIS WELL FIELD EXPANSION ALTERNATES - PROJECT NO. 431 WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Water System Plans prepared for a proposed water system for the City of Plymouth recommend that an analysis be prepared on the capability of the aquifer to produce the required amount of water; and WHEREAS, said analysis was prepared by Bruce A. Liesch and Assoc:ltes, Inc. and received by the City Council on June 17, 1985; and WHEREAS, said report recommended that the City's proposed well system be diversified to a Multiple Aquifer System; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to determine the likely location of said Alternate Aquifers; and WHEREAS, Bruce A. Liesch and Associates, Inc. has prepared a proposal dated June 18, 1985 for said investigation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that Bruce A. Liesch Associates be directed to prepare a report investigating the Future Well Field expansion alternatives available to the City in accordance with their proposal dated June 18, 1965 at a cost not to exceed $3,746. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Neils, Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. sant
