Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
of July , 1985. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor
10_ Schneider, Councilmembers Neils, Crain and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport

Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 504
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF TRAIL/PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT
LOT 1, WAYZATA FARMSTEADS ADDITION
WHEREAS, the petition to vacate a trail easement adjacent to Lot 1, Wayzata
Farmsteads Addition was received by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July
15, 1985 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of July 15, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 15, 1985 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said Trail Eas-.cent; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said trail easement
adjacent to Lot 1, Wayzata Farmsteads Addition as described below iG not r•-,eded
. for a public trail;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That that part of the public Trail/Pedestrian easement described below
is hereby vacated:
All that part of 6th Avenue adjacent to the Northerly side of Lot 1,
Wayzata Farmsteads Addition described as follows:
That part of 6th Avenue North originally dedicated in the plat of
"Wayzata Farmsteads," according to the recorded plat thereof, lying
West of the Northerly extension of the East line of Lot 1, said
"Wayzata Farmsteads," and Easterl; of the Northerly extension of the
Westerly line of said Lot 1, except that part of the above-described
parcel which is inside a 60 foot radius circle, the radius point of
which is located on the centerline of Queensland Lane, 60 feet South
of the South line of the Fazendin-Krogness Addition, as measured along
the centerline of Queensland Lane.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Neils, Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
