Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day
of Jul , 1985. The following members were present: eputy Manor
chne er ouncilmembers Neils Crain and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmefter Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 501
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF LARCH LANE AND LARCH PLACE IN
SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 118, Range 22
WHEREAS, the petition to vacate a portion of Larch Lane and Larch Place right-
of-way was received by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July
15, 1985 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of July 15, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 15, 1985 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said Larch Lane and
Larch Place; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that the portions of Larch Lane
and Larch Place as described below are not needed for a public street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. That that part of Larch Lane and Larch Place described below is hereby
vacated:
Street and utility easement per Document No. 1455410.
A permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under,
across and through that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, lying easterly of a
circular arc having a radius of 50.00 feet and a central radius point
located on the east line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter, distant 234.59 feet north of the Southwest corner of the plat
of West Ridge Estates, Second Addition.
Street easement for Larch Lane per usage prior to realignment.
The east 33.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
2. That said vacation shall not affect the authority of any person,
corporation or municipality owning or controlling the electric or
telephone poles and lines, gas and sewer lines, or water lines, mains
and hyrdrants thereon or thereunder, to continue maintaining the same,
or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to repair,
replace, remove otherwise attend thereto.

3. That the City of Plymouth reserves easement rights for utility purpose
over and across said vacated street.
4. The vacation shall not be filed until after the final plat of Swan
Lake is filed with Hennepin County.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Neils, Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
