Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day
of duly , 1965. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport,

Councilr�iember Schneider introduced the followine Resolution an-- moved
its aaoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-499
Adoption of a Risk Management Policy
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes risk management as a basic and fundamental
management function; and
WHEREAS, the City Council endeavors to provide for the safety and welfare of
our citizens and city employees; and
WHEREAS, it is the responsibility of management to protect the financial
integrity of the City from perils beyond the control of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Finance Director has prepared a written Risk Management
Policy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOITH that the Risk Management Policy as prepared by the Finance Director in
his memo of June 27 is hereby approved.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
followinggvoted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain.

Whereupon the Resolution was declared *duly passed and adopted.
