HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-489CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of July . 19 85 The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport �t �t Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-489 APPROVING SITE PLAN, AND VARIANCES FOR VANTAGE COMPANIES (85047) WHEREAS, Vantage Companies has requested approval of a Site Plan and Variances for the construction of a multi -tenant office/showroom building on 3.7 acres located be- tween 24th and 26th Avenues North, west of Xenium Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Plaeir!ing Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request for Vantage Companies for a Site Plan and Variances for the construction of a multi -tenant office/showroom building on 3.7 acres located between 24th and 26th Avenues North, west of Xenium Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with City Engineer's Memorandum 2. Payment of park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication in accordance with the Dedication Policy in effect at the time of Building Permit issuance. 3. Submission of required financial guarantee and Site Performance Agreement for completion of site improvements. 4. Prior to issuance of any new sign permits it shall be assured that all signage on this site shall be in compliance with the current Ordinance requirement. 5. Ai:y subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approv- als per Ordinance provisions. 6. All waste and waste containers shall be stored within the enclosure, and no out- side storage is permitted. PLEASE SEE PAGE TWO Page two Resolution No. 85-489 7. Approved Variances include a 25 ft. front yard setback vs 50 ft. to 24th and 26th Avenues North and Xenium Lane for the parking spaces; a 10 ft. setback vs 15 ft. to the property line for the drive aisle; and, a 1 ft. setback to the west building wall for 5 parking spaces vs 10 ft. setback. These yard variances are in consideration of the mitigative and compensatory measures of additional landscaping and screening. S. Submittal of all required easements including street easement for Xenium Lane as approved by the City Engineer prior to issuance of Building Permits. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils ,and upon vote being taken thereon,_ the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
