HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-468CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, aregular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1St day of Jul . 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ouncilmembers Gra,in, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider Introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-468 APPROVING RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT PLAN FOR GORDON AND EDITH JOHNSON FOR SWAN LAKE HIGHLANDS (85027) WHEREAS, Gordon and Edith Johnson have requested approval of a Residential Planned Unit Development Concept Plan for the development of 77 single family lots on approximately 40 acres located southwest of 45th Avenue North and Larch Lane; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public Informational Hearing and has recommended approval; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Residential Planned Unit Development Concept Plan for Gordon and Edith Johnson for a development to be known as Swan Lake Highlands on approximately 40 acres located southwest of 45th Avenue North and Larch Lane, subject to the following conditions: 1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum. 2. Staging of the development shall be in accordance with utility availability as approved by the City Engineer and contingent upon Metropolitan Council review and response of the Staged Growth Plan Amendment. 3. Maximum density shall be 2.0 units per acre for the land at or above the estab- lished high water elevation per the adopted City Storm Water Drainage Plan as verified by the City Engineer. No density bonus points are assigned. 4. Draft restrictive covenants and homeowner association documents for the private open areas shall be submitted with final plat/plan application. 5. No private drive access shall be permitted to Larch Lane; all private drives shall be provided by internal public streets. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ayor avenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
