Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of July 1985.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ouncilmembers Crain,
Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-467
APPROVAL OF COMPREHENSIVE STAGED DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT FOR THE EDITH AND GORDON
JOHNSON (85027)
WHEREAS, Edith and Gordon Johnson have requested approval of an Amendment to the
Comprehensive Staged Development Plan for that portion of the parcel that lies within
the Sanitary Sewer District NC -8 and that said parcel be removed from the Post -1990
Urban Service Area; and,
WHEREAS, the property is legally described as the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota (PIN 14-
118-22-22-0001) and lies within the City of Plymouth Sanitary Sewer District NC -8 and
NC -12; and,
WHEREAS, said property is bisected by the Post -1990 Urban Service Area Boundary and
that said property can be serviced with sanitary sewer without the extension of trunk
sewer lines; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the request following a duly schedul-
ed Public Hearing and has recommended approval; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Amendment to the Comprehensive
Staged Development Plan subject to the following:
1. The Amendment is based upon the finding that the designation of this property
within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area is consistent with the Comprehensive
Plan and Ordinance provisions; allows the development of property that can be
serviced without the extension of trunk sewer lines; and, the proposal would not
adversely impact the City's Land Use Plans.
2. Approval is ^ontingent upon, and subject to the required review and response by
the Metropolitan Council.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor avenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils,
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained:
