Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the a 24th day of June . 1985.
The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schnei7er, Counci mem ers —
Neils, Crain and VasiliDu
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adopt on:
RESOLUTION NO. 95- 465
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE AUDIO SYSTEM IN THE
CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS
WHEREAS, City Council meetings are broadcast for cable television; and
WHEREAS, the sound system in the City Council chambers is not desioned to provide the
necessary audio quality for broadcast; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires that public information efforts such as cable televis-
ing of City Council meetings be of reasonable audio and video quality;
. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that it should and hereby does authorize an expenditure not to exceed $10,500 for the
acquisition and installation of an audio sound system in the City Council chambers;
and further that such funds shall be drawn from account no. 101-190-899.46.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Neils
and Crain
