Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day
of June , 1985. The following members were present: F— Mayor
c nei e -r ouncilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 451
REQUESTING MN DOT
CONDUCT SPEED LIMIT STUDIES
WHEREAS, the level of residential development has increased since the speed
limit was established on the following streets:
Zachary Lane - 36th Avenue to County Road 10
Ferndale Road - County Road 6 to the south City limits
AND, WHEREAS, THE Commissioner of Transporation will upon request from local
authorities conduct an engineering and traffic study to ascertain a safe and
reasonable speed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Commissioner of Transportation undertake a traffic
engineering study on the above streets.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
