HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-449CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day . of June , 1985. The following members were present: eputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 449 AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE AGRICULTURAL TYPE TRACTOR WITH LOADER WHEREAS, $23,000 has been budgeted for the purchase of one four wheel drive agricultural type tractor with loader in the 1985 budget; and WHEREAS, such equipment is required to adequately maintain the City's Public Property; and WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute bid spescifications were prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on May 28, 1985; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: Case Power and Equipment Long Like Ford Tractor Lake State Equipment Company Scharber and Sons, Inc. Greenberg Implement, Inc. $14,502.00 16,837.00 17,987.00 18,770.00 19,500.000 WHEREAS, the bid of Case Power and Equipment is in conformance with City specifications for this equipment and Case Power and Equipment is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, Minnesota that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Case Power and Equipment in the amount of $14,502.00 and, further that funds for this purchase are authorized from Account No. 602-531-921. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain. Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
