Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day
of June , 1985. The following members were present: -17eputy Mayor

The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport ,

Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 448
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
PROJECT NO. 503 - STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
53RD AVENUE/NATHAN LANE/SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AND ADJACENT AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Scherer
Industrial Development and adjacent area on 53rd Avenue and Nathan Lane and
County Road 18 service road by the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer,
storm sewer and street improvements and all necessary appurtenances, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that C.S. McCrossan of Osseo, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder in the amount of $567,235.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with C.S. McCrossan, Inc. in the name of the City
of Plymouth for the construction of Project No. 503, Scherer Industrial
Development and adjacent area on 53rd Avenue and Nathan Lane and County
Road 18 service road street and utility improvements in the amount of
$567,235.50.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until the contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
