HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-445CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 11th day • of June , 1985. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Sc nei er, ouncilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilmember Vasiliou its adoption: introduced the following Resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. 85- 445 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF LARCH LANE AND LARCH PLACE IN SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 22 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Harold Reimer has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of certain street right-of-way in Section 14, Township 118, Range 22; WHEREAS, the following is a description of the proposed vacation: Street and utility easement per Document No. 1455410. A permanent easement for street and utility purposes over, under, across and through that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, lying easterly of a circular arc having a radius of 50.00 feet and a central radius point located on the east line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, distant 234.59 feet north of the Southwest corner of the plat of West Ridge Estates, Second Addition. Street easement for Larch Lane per usage prior to realignment. The east 33.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 15, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
