Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day
of June , 1985. The following members were present: Depu y Mayor
Schneider, ound lmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Ccuncilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-443
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A TRAIL/PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT ADJACFNT TO LOT 1, WAYZATA FARMSTEADS ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Earl gave has petitioned the City Council
for the vacation of the following trail/pedestrian easement:
All that part of 6th Avenue adjacent to the Northerly side of Lot 1,
Wayzata Farmsteads Addition described as follows:
That part of 6th Avenue North originally dedicated in the plat of
"Wayzata Farmsteads," according to the recorded plat thereof, lying West
of the Northerly extension of the East line of Lot 1, said "Wayzata
Farmsteads," and Easterly of the Northerly extension of the Westerly
line of said Lot 1, except that part of the above-described parcel which
is inside a 60 foot radius circle, the radius point of which is located
on the centerline of Queensland Lane, 60 feet South of the South line of
the Fazendin-Krogness Addition, as measured along the centerline of
Queensland Lane.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 15, 1985
at 7:30 p.m, in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and
directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain, Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
