Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was Keld on t e 17th day of

ilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION No, 85- 430
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT
APPLICATION FOR A FITNESS COURT
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Medical Center is providing grants for eight
Gamefield fitness courts through their National Fitness Campaign, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed this
grant application, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and found the gran application
to be acceptable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized
to submit a grant application for a fitness court for the Zachary Playfield,
with all costs incurred by such grant to come from the Community Playfields,
City Parks and Trails Park Dedication account.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing votat in favor t ereo : Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain. Neils and Vasiliou
