HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-429CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of dune . 1985. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Neils, Vasillou and Crain The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Councilâ– ember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 429 ESTABLISHING THE ADEQUACY OF THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE PARKERS LAKE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - PARKERS LAKE NORTH PROPERTY (STAGE B), A DEVELOPMENT PROPOSED BY THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS (82066) WHEREAS, the City Council approved the MPUD Preliminary Plat/Plan, Conditional Use Permit for Parkers Lake Planned Development - Parkers Lake North Property by Resolu- tion No. 84-323 on May 21, 1984; and, WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Scoping Decision through Resolution No. 84-501 on duly 23, 1984 which identified the major issues to be addressed in an Environmen- tal Impact Statement (EIS); and, WHEREAS, The Final EIS has analyzed all of the issues identified in the Scoping Decision for which information could be reasonably obtained and the depth of analysis was sufficient to allow informed decisions on the governmental permits in question, and, in particular, about choices among alternatives and about mitigative measures; and, WHEREAS, the Final EIS provides responses to all substantive comments on the Draft EIS; and, WHEREAS, the Final EIS has been prepared in accordance with Chapter 4410.2700 through 4410.2800 of the State regulations; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does determine that the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Parkers Lake Planned Development - Parkers Lake North Prop- erty (Stage B), a development proposed by the City of Minneapolis is adequate and directs that a Notice of this determination be forwarded to the Minnesota Environ- mental Quality Board. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
