HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-413CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of June , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Neils. Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 413 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID 1985 UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to an advert;,3ement for bids for the following utility and street improvements: Projects 207, 324, 455, 459, 501 and 504; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company Total Bid Northdale Construction $302,597.65 Burchett Bros. 305,451.10 Nodland Associates 321,453.80 G L Contracting 357,339.00 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction, Rogers, Minnesota is the 10 lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $302,597.65; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Northdale Construction of Rogers, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of Projects 207, 325, 455, 569, 501 and 504 in the amount of $302,597.65. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until the contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Neils, Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
