HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-404CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of 3une . 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Counciimembers Schneider, Meals, Crain and Vasillou The following members were absent: None #f# t+a Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 404 APPROVING LOT CONSOLIDATION, LOT DIVISION AND VARIANCE FOR NORTHLAND MANAGEMENT CORPOR- ATION (85029) WHEREAS, Northland Management Corporation has requested approval of Lot Consolidation, Lot Division and Variance for the division of unplatted land and the consolidation of platted and unplatted land by metes and hounds description for property located north of County Road 15 and north and south of Highway 55 in the Northwest Quarter of Section 36; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN- NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following: EXISTING PARCELS TU BE CONSOLIDATED. Description I The Southeast quarter of the 'Jorthwest Quarter of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22. Description II That part of the N•urtheast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Town- ship 118, Range 22, lying between the southwesterly right of way line of State Highway No. 55 and the northerly right of way line of County Road 6, and north- westerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point in the southwesterly right of way line of said State Highway 55, distant 215.00 feet southeasterly, measured along said highway right of way line, from the north line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence southwesterly on a line perpendicular to the southwesterly right of way line of said highway, a distance of 163.65 feet, more or less, to the northerly right of way line of said County Road No. 6 and there terminating. Description III That part of Lot 14 lying Southeasterly of a line drawn Northeasterly from the most Southerly corner of the Northwesterly 32.30 feet of said Lot 14 as measured at right angles to and parallel with the Northwesterly line of said Lot 14, to a point in the Northeasterly line of said Lot 14 distant 28.59 feet Southeasterly of the most Northerly corner of said Lot 14. Page two • Resolution No. 85-404 ALSO All of Lot 15; and that part of adjoining vacated Gaylored Avenue lying between the extension of the Southwesterly line of Block 6 and the Southwesterly right-of- way line of Trunk Highway 55, as described in Book 2142 of Deeds, Page 427, Doc. No. 3084134 of Deeds. All in Block 6, "Schiebe's Highland View Addition", according to the recorded plot thereof. The east boundary line of the above described part of Vacated Gaylord Avenuc has been judicially determined and marked by 3 Judicial Landmarks set respectively •t the North and South termini of said line and at the angle in said line distant 56.3 feet South of the North Terminus. and to be divided as follows: TRACT A: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 36, Town- ship 118, Range 22, lying northeasterly of the northeasterly right-of-way line of State Highway No. 55. TRACT B: Now That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 36, Town- ship 118, Range 22, lying between the southwesterly right-of-way line of State Highway No. 55 and the northerly right-of-way line of County Road 6, and north- westerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point in the southwesterly right-of-way line of said State Highway 55, distant 215.00 feet southeasterly, measured along said highway right-of-way line, from the north line of said Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; thence southwesterly on a line perpendicular to the southwesterly right-of-way line of said highway, a distance of 163.65 feet, more or less, to the northerly right-of-way line of said County Road 6 and there terminating. And of the loca ions of all buildings, thereon and all visible encroachments, if any, from or on said land. As surveyed by Paul A. Johnson, Land Surveyor, Minn. Reg. No. 10938 that 18th day of April, 1985. FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County. The motion for adoption of -he foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Counclimmmber Vasillou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor th!reof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmiemibers Schneider, Neils, Crain and Vasiliou The following voted againp.: or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
