Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a ranular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day
of .lane , 1985. The following members were present:
Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vass icu
The following members were absent: none ,
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 390
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN STREET AMD UTILITY EASEMENTS IN
LOT 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, SCHIFBE'S OAKWOOD ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain street and utility easements
in Lot 1 and 2, Block 1, Schiebe's Oakwood Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for
June 3, 1985 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two
weeks prior to the meeting of June 3, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 3, 1985 to inform any
and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said street and
utility easements on Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Schiebe's Oakwood Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not
needed for public purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following street and utility easements be vacated:
Vacate all easements dedicated on Lots 1 and 2, Block 1,
Schiebe's Oakwood Addition, according to the plat thereof
on file or of record in the office of the Registrar of
Titles, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Except the utility
easement previously vacated on Lots 1 and 2, as per Document
No. 1205788.
Vacace the street and utility easements as per Document
No. 1035344 across Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Schiebe's Oakwood,
according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the
office of the Registrar of Titles, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
The vacation shall not take place until the City Council approves the replat-
ting of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Schiebe's Oakwood.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
So Councilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain,
Neils_ Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
