Councilnenber Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-375
A RESOLUTION APPROVING LANDSCAPI`G FOR SCHMIDT LAKE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisor- Commission has reviewed a
citizen request for additional landscaping at Schmidt Lake neighborhood
park, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation advisory Commission finds this request
to be in the best interests of the park in this neighborhood, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Director has recommended that such
improvements be made, and
• WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this recommendation from the
Director of Parks and Recreation and the Park and Recreation Advisor•
Commission, and finds this recommendation to be in the best interests
of Schmidt Lake neighborhood park,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Finance is authorized to
appropriate $4,000 from the neighborhood parks park dedication fund
to be expended for the improvements at Schmidt Lake neighborhood park.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Nei an n vote being taken thereon, the
fol ow voted in avow ereo : upon Davenport, Councilmembers Crain,
Nei 1, Schneider and Vasiliou

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed iM adopted.
