Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meet inq of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of P1aX_. 1981.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport. Councilme bers Crain- Npilc-
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following member were absent: none
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 373
AUTHORIZING THE CONTRIBUTION OF UP TO S2,000 FOR THE PRINTING
OF AN ANNIVERSARY BROCHURE FOR THE PLYMOUTH FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, 1985 constitutes the 25th anniversary of the operation of the Plymouth Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, members of the Volunteer Relief Association and City Council desire to
promote a special recognition of the twenty-five year history of the department: and
WHEREAS, members of the Firefighter Relief Association have requested a contribution
of up to $2,000 from the City for the printing of a anniversary brochure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
that it should and hereby does authorize the expenditure of up to $2,000 for the
printing of an anniversary brochure in recognition of the 25th anniversary of the
Plymouth Fire Department: and further, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
administer the disbursement of this contribution.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain_ Naile_
Schneider and Vasiliou
