Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was -held on—Me— 20th day of

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO - 85-368
AWARDING BID FOR THE 1985 TREE REMOVAL
WHEREAS, occasionally the City is forced to remove trees from private

property,
AND WHEREAS, in accordance with City policy, bid specifications were
prepared and distributed and bid proposals received and opened on „pril 18, 19ES
AND WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
BIDDER AMOUNT
Coolen Bros. 833,114.00
Forest Valley Tree Service 819,990.00
Pioneer Tree Service 512,697.85
AND WHEREAS, the bid of Pioneer Tree Service is in conformance with City
specifications for the contract and Pioneer Tree Service is therefore declared
the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Pioneer Tree
Service in the amount of 812,697.85 further, that funds for this proposal are
authorized from account No 206-206-810.25 ,
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote_be�'ng taken the ,
