Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of
May , 1985. The following members were present:�'rayor Davenport,
ounce mem ers Crain, Neils, Schneider, Vasiliou The following members were
absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 342
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1985 UTILITIES IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the City Council as follows:
1. Project 207 - Pond BC -P8 Control Structure

2. Project 324 -- 34th Avenue west of Park Place Addition
Resolution No. 85-235; April 1, 1985
3. Project 455 - Pond BC -P13 Outlet
Resolution No. 84-885; December 17, 1984
4. Project 459 - Isaiah Addition
resolution No. 84-794; November 5, 1984
5. Project 501 - Glen Echo Ponds 2nd Addition
Resolution No. 85-107; February 4, 1985
6. Project 403 - 47th Avenue North/Tammie Middlemist Addition
Resolution No. 85-109; February 4, 1985
the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 6 Associates, has
prepared plans and specifications for sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer,
gravel base street construct and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the combining of the above referenced
projects for bidding purposes; and
WHEREAS, the consulting engineer did present such plans and specifications to
the Council for approval on April 15, 1985;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. Becaube the advertisement for bid was inadvertently left out the
newspaper, this resolution will authorize the advertisement for bids.

3. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifica-
tions. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall spec-
ify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received the
City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on thursday, May 30, 1985, at which time
they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by
the City Manager and City Engineer and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: flavor Davenport, Councilembers Crain,

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
