HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-332CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of May , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Crain. Neils. Schneider. Vasiliou The following members were 1b absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 332 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 414 DEVRIES 3RD ADDITION WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on May 6, 1985 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Kilmer Lane and 30th Avenue within DeVries 3rd Addition by the installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, watermain lateral and trunk facilities, sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; 10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 3rd day of June 1985 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvem'.nt will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two week■ prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coun_ilm mh r Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils.
