HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-328CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of May , 1985. The following members were present: yor Davenport, 105unce mem ers rain, Neils, Schneider, Vasiliou The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider adoption: introduced the following Resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 85- 328 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT N0. 403 HADLEY WOODS ADDITION IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on May 6, 1985 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Queensland Court within Hadley Woods Addition by the installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, wate-main lateral and trunk facilities, sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities and all necessary appurtencnces; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 3rd day of June 1985 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasilio„ , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
