HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-320CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rggijar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of May , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils. Schneider. Crain and Vacilinii The following members were • absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 320 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 408 DUNKIRK LANE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: Dunkirk Lane from County Road 24 to County Road 6 Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, drainage ponds, drainage channels and all necessary appurtenances; and the contract price for such improvement is $1,678,000.00 nd the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $456,202.90, so the total cost of the improvement will be $2,134,202.90 and of this cost the City will pay $1,209,183.60 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 0 PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $925,019.27. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereof, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils, Schneider. Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
