Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th play
ofMU , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport.
Counciers-Neils, Schneider. Crain and Vasiliou

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved
Tis adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 308
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
1985 STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1985 Street Improvement
Program; and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Preferred Paving of St. Bonifacius is the lowest
responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Preferred Paving in the name of the City
of Plymouth for the construction of the 1985 Street Improvement Program
in the amount of $340,597.60.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Neils,
Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
