The following members were present: Mayor uncilmembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou rs were absent: none -- Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 307 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID COUNTY ROAD 61 - COUNTY ROAD 15 TO HIGHWAY 12 PROJECT NO. 216 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of County Road 61 from County Road 15 to Trunk Highway 12; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tablulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company Total Bid Bury b Carlson, Inc. $681,575.43 Alexander Construction, Inc. 695,351.74 Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. 727,265.00 C.S. McCrossan, Inc. 739,126.55 . Northwest Asphalt, Inc. 807,262.50 Hardrives, Inc. 826,960.04 Progressive Contractors, Inc. 831,876.00 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Bury b Carlson of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY 17HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Bury S Carlson, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of County Road 61 from County Road 15 to Trunk Highway 12 in the amount of $681,575.43. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwiLh to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and she next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, CDuncilwembers Neils, Schneider, Crain and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon thr Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ikdt�k *** irk*
