Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meets g of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held c—n--tTW22nd day of

Councilnember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 285
A RESOLUTION NAMING A NEIGHBORHOOD PARK
RRR
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has purchased and developed a new neighborhood
park lying south of 34th Avenue, east of Pilgrim Lane and north of 29th
Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has reviewed possible
names for this park, and
WHEREAS, the Commission has recommended to the City Council that this park
be named Sunrise Neighborhood Park, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds this recommendation to be compatible with
other park names,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the name for the neighborhood park serving
neighborhood no. 26 shall be hereafter called "Sunrise Neighborhood Park,"
and further, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to
prepare the proper signage for the park and amend all park map materials
to identify this park site.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
