Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day
of April , 1985. The following members were present: Mayor -Davenport,

The following members were absent: none
COuncilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 85- 282
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS - HONEYWELL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412 851, Honeywell, Inc. has petitioned the City
Council for the vacation of the following utility and drainage easements:
A permanent sewer easement across the tract or parcel of land lying and
being in the County of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, described as
follows, to -wit: That part of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the West 1/2
of the Southeast 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 35, Township 118, Range 22
lying within a 20 foot strip of land the center line of which is described
as follows: Commencing at a point on the South line of the SW 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 distant 81.59 feet West of the SE corner of said SW 1/4 of the NW
1/4, thence Northwesterly along a line having a bearing of North
42° 15' 40" West for a distance of 239.83 feet to . point hereinafter
referred to as "Point A", thence Northwesterly along a line having a
bearing of North 16° 24' 40" West for a distance of 379.12 feet, thence
Northeasterly along a line having a bearing of North 21° 35' 50" East for a
distance of 367.22 feet, thence Northeasterly along a line having a bearing
North 280 35' 50" East for a distance of 400 feet, thence Northeasterly
along a line having a bearing of North 26° 44' 20" East to the North line
of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 and there terminating, and
commencing at the above described "Point A", thence Southwesterly along a
line having a bearing of South 41° 41' 20" West to the South line of said
SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and there terminating as contained in Document Nos.
3688114, 3688115, and 3688119.
And a below described storm sewer easement on the parcel described as follows:
Commencing at the center of Section 35, T118, R22; thence North 60.00 feet
along the West line of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 35; thence
East 472.71 feet along a line parallel with the South line of said SW 1/4
of the NE 1/4 and having an assumed bearing of S 89° 20' 05" E; thence
North 938.0 feet at a bearing of N 0° 10' 06"; thence West 1120.23 feet at
a bearing of N 890 20' 05" W; thence South 998.0 feet at a bearing of
S 00 05' 53" W; thence East 646.30 feet to the point of beginning; and
there terminating.
Description of Easement:
A permanent easement for storm sewer purposes over, under, across and
10 through a strip of land 20 feet wide, within the above described parcel,
the center line of which is described as follows, to -wit: Commencing at
the center of Section 35, T118, R22; thence North 60.00 feet along the West

line of said SW 1/4 of NW 1/4; thence East 472.71 feet along a line paral-
lel with the South line of said SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 and having an assumed
bearing of S 89° 20' 05" E; thence North 15.00 feet at a bearing of
N 0° 10' 06" E; to the true point of beginning of the centerline of the 20
foot wide utility easement; thence West along a line parallel to the South
line of said SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 a distance of 40.0 feet; thence deflecting to
the Northwest at an angle of 49°26' for a distance of 180.00 feet and there
terminating centerline description of 20 feet wide easement.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH that it should and hereby does establish the date of May 20, 1985 at
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.,
as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and directs the
administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, CouncilmembersCrain, Neils,
Schneider and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
