HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-279CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a gperial meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of April , 1985. The following members were present: _ agnr na vpn nr rt: The following members were absent: nnna Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 279 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRELIMINARY REPORT TYRELL ADDITION (FORMERLY AMHURST ADDITION) PROJECT N0, 530 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of sanitary sewer and watermain, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter for the Tyrell Addition, including 46th Avenue from Juneau Lane to the easterly line of Amhurst 7th Addition; utilities and streets on the southerly 700 feet of Kingsview Lane and the first cul-de-sac to the west of Kingsview Lane all in the proposed plat of Tyrell Addition (formerly Amhurst Addition) by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain, storm sewer, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, filed with the Council on April 22, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statute Section 429.035. • 2. The petitioner is owner of 100% of the property proposed to be assessed for said improvements and here',y waives his rights to a public improvement hearing and assessment hearing. 3. The petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates and he is instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated costs of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Neils, Schneider and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained:. none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
