• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 15th day of April . 1985.
The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider,
Neils, Crain and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 256
APPROVING MIXED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT PLAN FOR BASS LAKE DEVELOPMENT
COMPANY (84091)
WHEREAS, Bass Lake Development Company has requestcd approval of a Mixed Planned Unit
Development Concept Plan for the development of 88 single family lots, 12 twin lots
and a service business site for 11 commercial lots on approximately 73.03 acres
located in the northwest quadrant of Bass Lake Road and Hemlock Lane; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public
Informational Hearing and has recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
• MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the Mixed Planned Unit Development
Concept Plan for Bass Lake Development Company for a development to be known as
"Bass Lake Estates" and "Quinwood Commercial Center" consisting of 88 single family
lots, 12 twin lots and a service business site for 11 commercial lots on approximate-
ly 73.03 acres located on the northwest quadrant of Bass Lake Road and Hemlock Lane,
subject to the following conditions:
1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum.
2. Staging of the development shall be in accordance with utility availability as
approved by the City Engineer.
3. Maximum denfity of the residential area shall be 2.1 units per acre for the land
at or above the established high water elevation per the adopted City Storm
Water Drainage Plan as verified by the City Engineer. The final number of units
shall be determined with the Preliminary Plan anc' Plat review per Ordinance.
4. Bonus points for the residential density are awarded as follows: one point for
affirmative design.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution a as duly seconded by _
Councilmember Neils , and upor vote being taken the eon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, :ouncilmembers Schneider,
Neils. Crain and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
