Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day
of April , 1985. The fo:ilowing members were present:
1bDeputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou _
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 239
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
PROJECT NO. 225
45TH AFTH AVENUE FROM NATHAN LANE TO ZACHARY LANE
STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has undertaken Project No. 225; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements certain permanent and temporary
easements are required; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and expedient in the
interests of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens
of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire said easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence
condemnation proceedings for Project No. 225 for the following described
easements within the following described parcel:
. Parcel No. 13-118-22-21-0010: Outlot A, Sagamore
Parcel Description: Outlot "A", Sagamore
Easement Description: A permanent easement for street and utility purposes
lying Northerly of the following described line: Commencing at the Northeast
corner of Outlot A, Sagamore, Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence S 2° 58' 22" W
along the East line of Outlot A, Sagamore a distance of 30 feet; thence
Westerly along a line parallel to the north line of Outlot A, Sagamore a
distance of 181.85 feet; thence curving to the right along a tangential curve
having a radius of 378.81 feet to its intersection with the north line of
Outlot A, Sagamore and there terminating.
Together with a permanent easement for street and utility purposes lying
Westerly of the following described line: Commencing at the Northeast corner
of Outlot A, Sagamore; thence Westerly along the North line of said Outlot A,
Sagamore a distance of 406.45 feet; thence deflecting to the left 59° 40' 11"
to its intersection with the southerly line of Outlot A, Sagamore and there
terminating.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
CnunrilmPmhpr Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers
train' Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
