Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a r'gular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day
• of April , 1985. The following members were present:
Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 85- 238
AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS
PROJECT NO. 503
53RD AVENUE/NATHAN LANE/SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AND ADJACENT AREA
STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has undertaken Project No. 503; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct the improvements certain permanent and temporary
easements are required; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary, proper and expedient and in the
interests of the public health, convenience and general welfare of the citizens
of the City of Plymouth for the City to acquire said easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City Attorney is hereby authorized to commence
• condemnation proceedings for Project No. 503 for the following described
easements within the following described parcels:
1. Parcel 1-118-22-42-0005; Outlot A, Bass Lake Plaza and
2. Parcel 1-118-22-42-0006; Outlot B, Bass Lake Plaza
A permanent easement for road purposes over, under and across Outlot A, and
Outlot B, Bass Lake Plaza, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin
County, Minnesota.
Said easement being 40.00 feet on each side of the following described line:
Beginning at the southeast corner the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 1, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota; thence on an
assumed bearing of North 01 degrees 23 minutes 55 seconds East along the
east line of said West Half of the Southeast Quarter 548.32 feet; thence
northwesterly 653.16 feet along a tangential curve, concave to the
southwest, having a radius of 833.03 feet and a central angle of 44 degrees
55 minutes 28 seconds; thence North 43 degrees 31 minutes 33 seconds West,
tangent to last described curve, 155.67 feet; thence northwesterly and
northerly 645.32 feet along tangential curve, concave to the northeast,
having a radius of 820.00 feet and a central angle of 45 degrees 05 minutes
25 seconds and said centerline there terminating.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
• Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers
Crain. Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
