The following members were present: unr CrhnpidA r- CrnjnrilmPmhers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: ***Mayor Daygnpn rt *tet *** Col -OCU ewbPr Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adopti ;n: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 234 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID PROJECT NO. 427 - SCHt�-DT'S GARDENS ADDITION AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Schmidt's Gardens Addition area including the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Company Total Bid Burschville Construction $298,082.29 Nodland Associates 311,210.40 Northdale Construction 315,260.00 Annandale Sewer & Water 319,718.43 Orfei & Sons, Inc. 321,670.07 Latour Construction 324,003.10 Austin P. Keller Construction 330,008.50 • Ceca Utilities 330,148.10 Hennen Construction 330,813.00 L & G Rehbein, Inc. 338,293.33 Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. 349,397.15 C.S. McCrossa,_, Inc. 353,100.25 H.B.H. Construction 376,906.25 AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Burschville Construction of Loretto, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $298,082.29; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The bids are hereby received and placed on file to be considered after the City Council has held a public improvement assessment hearing on April 22, 1985 with the award of contract to be considered at their June 3, 1985 Council meeting. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until the contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _o m ilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers _ Crain. Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
