HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-231CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15t day of April , 1985. The following members were present: Deputy payor Schneider. Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport Cnuncilmemher Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 231 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 426 CARLSON CENTER 3RD ADDITION AND ADJACENT AREA WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 1, 1985 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: Carlson Center 3rd Addition and adjacent area by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral, watermain lateral and trunk facilities, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of April 1985 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou 'and upon vote beingtaken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor chneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained:none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passsed and adopted.
