HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-230CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day • of April , 1985. The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain, Neils and Vasiliou s were absent: dr�llr Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-230 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 427 SCHMIDT'S GARDENS ADDITION - STREETS AND UTILITIES WHEREAS, bids have been taken for the improvement of: Schmidt's Gardens Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain laterals, storm sewer, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $386,969.77 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $88,512.62 so the total cost of the improvement will be $475,482.39 and of this cost the City will pay $o.00 as its share of the cost; • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $475,482.39. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for sanitary sewer trunk facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Sanitary Sewer Area Residential $720.00 per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CnnnrilmpnlhPr Vasilinu , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers train_ Neils and Vasiliou The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *+IFalir vkkok ,kAit
