Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1St day of
Aril , 1985. The following members were present:

Councilmember Crain _ introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85- 228
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1985 STREET SURFACING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the City Council as follows:
1. Project No. 403 - Hadley Woods Addition
Resolution No. 84-328; May 21, 1984
2. Project No. 404 Sunrise Hills/Skyline Hills Addition
Resolution No. 84-306; May 21, 1984
3. Project No. 412 - Zachary Hills 3rd and 4th Addition

4. Project No. 337 5 No. 414 - DeVries 2nd and 3rd Addition
Resolution No. 84-199; April 2, 1984 (DeVries 2nd Addition)

the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates, has
prepared plans and specifications for bituminous street, concrete curb and
gutter and trail paving and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the combining of the above referenced
projects for bidding purposes; and
WHEREAS, the consulting engineer has presented such plans and specifications to
the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
10 made a part hereof, are hereby approved.

• 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifica-
tions. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by
the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 1985, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth,
Minnesota by the City Manager and City Engineer and that no bids will
be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and
accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified
check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such
bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
. Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Deputy Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain,
Neils and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
