The following members were present: 10 --DeptityMayor hn ider, Counci The following members wero absent: .o n -ilm m6 r Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85- 227 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 503 53RD AVENUE/NATHAN LANE/SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AND ADJACENT AREA STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the Council on February 4, 1985, the City consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates, has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Scherer Industrial Development and adjacent area on 53rd Avenue and Nathan Lane and County Road 18 service road by the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and street improvements and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: a 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m, on Thursday, May 2, 1985, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota by the City Manager and City Engineer and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ' , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ oput,y Mayor Schneider.
