Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, r.. onesota, was held on the 1st day of April . 19
The following members were present: Deputy Mayor Schneider. Counri mhars Ct"ain.

The following members were absent: Mayor Dayenport
Councilmember Crain introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-216
APPROVING PRELI14INARY PLAT FOR SCHERER BROTHERS LUMBER COMPANY FOR SCHERER INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT (84045)
WHEREAS, Scherer Brothers Lumber Company has requested approval of a revised Prelim-
inary Plat for Scherer Industrial Development to plat approximately 53 acres into 9
industrial parcels located northwest of County Road 18 and Soo Line Railroad Right -
of -Way, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a preliminary plat through Resolution No. 84-512,
and the petitioner proposes revisions to said preliminary plat, and;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the revised Preliminary Plat for
Scherer Brothers Lumber Company for Scherer Industrial Development located northwest
of County Road 18 and Soo Line Railroad Right -of -Way, subject to the following
conditions:
1. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum.
I. Removal of all dead or dying trees from the property at the owner's expense.
3. No Building Permits shall be issued until a Contract has been awarded for sewer
and water.
4. Outlot B shall be deeded to the City at the time of filing the Final Plat. Pay-
ment of Park dedication fees -in -lieu of dedication with appropriate credits in
an amount determined according to verified acreage and paving costs and accord-
ing to the Dedication Policy in effect at the time of issuance of Building
Permit.
5. Street names shall comply with the City Street Naming System.
6. Compliance with Policy Resolution No. 79-80 regarding minimum floor elevations
for new structures in subdivisions adjacent to, or containing any open storm
water drainage facility.
7. Rezoning shall be finalized with filing of the Final Plat.

S. Requirement for an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for City review, and
processing in accordance with the Environmental Qualit,. Board (EQB) regulations
prior to approval of the Final Plat application.
9. No Building Permits snall be issued until the Final Plat is filed and recorded
with Hennepin County.
10. No yard setbacks are granted or implied.
11. Transitional �icreeninq and berming shall be provided along all adjacent
residential areas.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconrled by
