Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the Ist day of Aril 1985.
The following members were present: Deputy Mayor 3cEneider, Counci members Crain,
Neils and Vasiliou
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Deptity Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 85-212
APPROVING VARIANCES FROM THE SUBDIVISION CODE AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT POLICY RESOLUTION
NO. 75-664 FOR WYMAN JOHNSON, J & W PARTNERSHIP (85004)
WHEREAS, Wyman Johnson, J & W Partnership, has requested approval of Variances from the
Subdivision Code and Urban Development Policy Resolution No. 75-664, to divide a 45
acre parcel to create a developable parcel in an unserviced area on property located
north of County Road 24 and east of Brockton Lane:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MIN-
NESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the following:
EXISTING LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 19, Township 118, Range 22, described as
follows: Beginninq at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 19; thence Fast along the South line of said Northwest Quarter a distance
of 775 feet; thence North, at a right angle, 363 feet; thence West, at a right
angle, 160 feet; thence North, at a right angle, 190 feet; thence East, at a right
angle, to the East line of the West 1217.98 feet of said Northwest Quarter; thence
North along said East line to the center line of 34th Avenue North, as dedicated
in the plat of Amber Woods; thence West, at a right angle, to the West 1 irre of
said Northwest Quarter; thence South along said West line to the point of begin-
ning, according to the Government Survey thereof.
PARCEL A:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 19, Township 118, Range 22, described as
follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 19; thence East along the South line of said Northwest Quarter a distance
of 775 feet; thence North, at a right angle 363 feet; thence West, at a right
angle, 160 feet; thence North, at a right angle, 190 feet; thence East, at a right
angle, to the East line of the West 1217.98 feet of said Northwest Quarter; thence
North along said East litie to the center line of 34th Avenue North, as dedicated
in the plat of Amber Wuods; thence West, at a right angle, to the West line of
said Northwest Quarter; thence South along said West line to the point of begin-
ning, according to the Government Survey thereof. Except the East 680.00 feet of
the South 363.00 feet thereof. Said South 363.00 feet being measured from the
South line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 19. Subject to easements of
record.

The East 680.00 feet of the South 363.00 feet of the following described Tract:
Said South 363.00 feet being measured from the South line of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 19. That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and
the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 19, Township 118, Range
22, described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 19; thence East along the South line of said Northwest
Quarter a distance of 775 feet; thence North, at a right angle, 363 feet; thence
West, at a right angle, 160 feet; thence North, at a right angle, 190 feet; thence
Fast, at a right angle, to the Fast line of the West 1217.98 feet of said North-
west Quarter; thence North alonq said Fast line to the center line of 34th Avenue
North, as dedicated in the plat of Amber Woods; thence West, at a right angle, to
the West line of said Northwest Quarte; thence South along said West line to the
point of beginning, accordinq to the Government Survey thereof. Subject to ease-
ments of record.
FURTHER, that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special assessment
corrections based upon City Policy when the division is approved by Hennepin County.

The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by _
Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: epu y ayor Schneider, Councilmembers Crain
and Vasiliou
The following voted against or abstained: Louncllmember Neils
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
