HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-210CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the81 th day of March , 1984. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider, Neils, Crain and Vasiliou The following members were absent: none *,tet *,tet *dta Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 84-210 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - QUANTICO LANE FROM 3RD AVENUE TO 6TH AVENUE WHEREAS, a petition has been received requesting installation of residential street lighting on Quantico Lane from 3rd Avenue to 6th Avenue; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT WEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Quantico Lane from 3rd Avenue to 6th Avenue by the installation of residential street lighting, filed with the City Council on March 18, 1985 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising th i Council in is a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
