HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1985-179CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 4th day of March 1985. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers rain, _ Srhpgidgr and Vacilinu The -following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 85-179 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $4,100 TO CONDUCT A RESIDENTIAL SURVEY WHEREAS, Dr. William Morris, dba Decision Resources, Ltd., has submitted a proposal to conduct a residential survey on local government issues; and WHEREAS, Dr. Morris has previously constructed, administered and analyzed similar surveys for Plymouth in 1979 and 1982; and WHEREAS, responses to previous surveys have assisted the City Council. in short and long range policy planning for the community; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, that it should and hereby does authorize the Manager to enter into an aqreement with Decision Resources, Ltd., in the amount of $4,100 to construct, administer, analyze and report upon a residential survey of local issues within the City of Plymouth; and further, does hereby allocate an amount not to exceed $4,100 from the Community Identity account no. 101-189-899.38. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by � ilmember Crain , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: ayor Davenport, Councilmembers Crain, Schneider . efollowing voted against or absta ne Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
